Whimsical Fuchsia and Gold Wedding

Get excited for this one people! This wedding was incredibly fun and the bride and groom were an absolute blast to work with. When the bride whipped a spray painted gold dinosaur planter out of her purse within minutes of us officially meeting, I knew we would be a perfect fit for each other. She wanted their wedding to be a fun, family-filled weekend, and she got exactly that! Festivities started Friday with a grade school style field day, pitting the bride's family against the groom's. They took a break for lunch then got back at it with their own version of the Washington Post's "Post Hunt," which they avidly compete in every year (check out their mention in the Post's article, here). They then moved on to the more traditional wedding activities, like the rehearsal and dinner. The next day though, things got crankin' at the reception, with two photo booths, dinosaur accent decor, monster finger puppet escort cards, lottery ticket favors, and a peacock made of spoons and chopsticks! It was such an incredibly fun wedding and I'm so glad you stopped by to check it out! Enjoy!
