Old World Travel Styled Shoot

I am so thrilled to be able to finally share this shoot! All the women who worked on this shoot are so incredibly talented and worked so hard and I am so excited to finally show off all of our hard work! This shoot has been featured on both 100 Layer Cake and Burnett's Boards. Sarah Goodwin Photography was key in helping me bring this to life. We threw around quite a few ideas before finally settling on Old World Travel. And I'm so glad that's where we ended up. Once we had our inspiration, everything else came together seamlessly. All of the other ladies took hold of our ideas and turned them into something beautiful. I was absolutely giddy with excitement when the invitation suite from Little Bit Heart arrived in the mail. They did such a fantastic job of incorporating maps and travel in such creative ways.Sweets by E made such perfect little treats that went so well with our colors. Her tiramisu macaroons were so delicious. As was everything else she prepared. I loved her style of the cake as well. The little bits of actual cake poking through the icing gave it the perfect vintage touch. Terra from Jordan K Winn worked magic in turning out models into Old World beauties. They both looked so natural and Terra's styling fit in perfectly with our theme.

I loved finding flowers that had a vintage feel to them. I knew I wanted light pinks and creams, but couldn't resist the dusty purple roses when I saw them. They were too perfect to pass up. While I love the look of an arrangement overflowing with greenery, there is something to be said for a centerpiece bursting with blooms. Roses make everything feel more romantic and an arrangement with too many flowers to count seems so elegant to me.

A special thank you to Sarah, who assisted in organizing the shoot. She was truly a pleasure to work with and her photos are simply stunning. It has taken me days to narrow down my favorites to an amount that won't be utterly overwhelming. I cannot wait to work with her again!
