A Foodie's Dream Wedding

This couple was so much fun! Their wedding was laid back, full of delicious food, and had an Italian-tandem bicycle theme. Their day started with the ceremony taking place at Holy Rosary Church in Washington, D.C., where the bride's grandfather was baptized and served as an alter boy when he was young. Their guests then moved on to hang out in the couple's neighborhood and enjoyed Happy Hour at a beer garden, Wunder Garten,  while the bride and groom snuck away for portraits on their tandem bicycle. You've got to love a bride who is willing to throw on a pair of bike shorts, hike up her dress, and ride down their favorite trail on the way to the reception! They joined their guests at Wunder Garten for a few drinks and then walked (and biked) as a group over to Masseria, a new gourmet Italian restaurant near Union Market. The weather was absolutely perfect for their patio reception and the guests were treated to an amazing four course dinner. They ended the night with plenty of dancing and sent their guests away with homemade olive oil. Enjoy!

  1. I can actually attest to the fact that the food was delicious because, unlike other hosts who I hear never get to eat a bite, there was a staff member by my side every so often kindly reminding me to eat! At wedding venues Los Angeles we received the best possible service.
