The day started with the ceremony being held in the gardens of the Tudor Place in Georgetown. It was absolutely gorgeous day and we couldn't have asked for better weather. The ceremony was beautiful and all of out design elements complimented the gardens so nicely. We then moved in to the Administration Building for some cocktails and socializing.
Next, Laura and Joe loaded their guests in to limousines and sent them on a scavenger hunt through the city. They wanted their friends and family to get to know the city they loved, so they were sent to look for things like Guests traveled by limo, hoping to find things like the site of a movie, a statue of a Civil War leader and a picture with the president.
Lastly, they all met back up at Old Ebbitt Grill for dinner and dessert. The reception was in the cabinet room and was decorated beautifully, continuing the Breakfast at Tiffany's theme. It was such an enjoyable event and Laura and Joe had such a wonderful time celebrating their marriage in the city they love.
